Course content
|
Seminars - Introduction to the issues of physiotherapy and rehabilitation nursing for patients of all ages in home care. Medical rehabilitation care. - Examination of the musculoskeletal system, assessment of the current state of mobility and self-care of the patient. - Methods of locomotion of clients with severe disabilities, types and indications of supports. - Kinesthetics and the Bobath concept in home care. Use of the patient's movement reserves, productive and safe assistance. - Cooperation with other members of the multidisciplinary team in rehabilitation care for the client in home conditions (home care nurses, caregivers, family members - with regard to competencies). - Education in the prevention of complications related to reduced mobility and chronic disease. Exercises - Practical exercises in the use of kinesthetics and the Bobath concept in patient activation. - Verticalization and locomotion exercises using compensatory medical devices to ensure mobility with regard to age and severity of the disease. - Rehabilitation treatment exercises in relation to a specific diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system (central and peripheral paresis, basic orthopedic diagnoses, conditions after total endoprostheses). - Perception stimulation. - Specifics of rehabilitation treatment in children.
