Course content
- Elaboration of a pedagogical problem. - Written elaboration of the theoretical areas of the state final examination according to selected topics: 1. J. A. Comenius and his legacy for the Czech school of today. 2. School management - administration and leadership of schools. Collaboration and teamwork in schools. The role of the principal and vice-principal. School evaluation and self-evaluation. 3. The student - the child in the process of education and the concept of the student in education. 4. The teacher in education and upbringing. The teaching profession. 5. The teacher and student in the pedagogical process. Pedagogical communication and interaction. Emotions and temperament. 6. Leisure time and extracurricular education of children aged 6-12. Contemporary Czech experiential pedagogy. Social behavior. Social cognition. 7. The family as an educational environment, education for parenthood. 8. The school as an educational institution, the education system, and primary schools in the Czech Republic and selected foreign countries. 9. Transformation of Czech education and primary education after 1989. 10. Pedagogical diagnosis and assessment of students in teaching. 11. The teaching process: design, management, and reflection. 12. Teaching strategies, methods, and organizational forms.
