Course content
- Cooperation between school and family - definition of key terms. - Family, parents, parenthood as participants in the relationship between school and family. - Teachers and children as participants in the relationship between school and family. - Levels of the relationship between kindergarten and family (personnel and organizational). - History and present of the relationship between school and family in our country and in the world. - Arguments for the development of the school-family relationship. - Controversial aspects of school-family relations. - Specifics of the relationship between school and family in pre-primary and primary education. - Transition from kindergarten to primary school as a specific agenda of cooperation between school and family. - Forms of cooperation between school and family - possibilities and risks. - Types of parents according to their relations to the school with regard to the conditions of the primary school. - Communication - the basis of school-family relations. - Interview: teacher - parent.
