Course content
- Subject and scientific basis of didactics of Art education. - Concept and goals of Art education. - Current trends in Art education and their representatives. - Children's artistic expression, its theory. - Origin and essence of children's artistic expression, graphomotor skills. - Stages of development of children's artistic expression, characteristic features. - Typology of artistic expression (Herbert Read, Victor Löwenfeld, Jaromír Uždil, Věra Roeselová). - Planning of art activities with regard to typology. Problematics of children's artistic expression evaluation with regard to typology. - Portrayal of the human figure, family, space, ways of depiction. - The meaning of colours and symbols in children's drawing and in the child's life. - The phenomenon of illustration (form and content); illustrations and text; illustrations for children; creators of children's books, comics. - Integration of educational components in the educational process (Music, Art Education, Physical Education). - Preparation and implementation of model lessons - practice, improvement. - Preparation, implementation and analysis of student activities in primary school.
