Course content
- Development of physical education in Czech schools. Education reforms and the current concept of school physical education. - Basic concepts of PE didactics. - Curricular documents in relation to school physical education. - Pupil's personality with regard to psychomotor development. - The role of a physical education teacher. - Objectives, content and methods of school physical education. - Organizational forms of school physical education. - Construction of a physical education teaching unit. - Criteria for the effectiveness of teaching and learning in physical education. - Methods for assessing the effectiveness of teaching and learning in PE. - Planning, evaluation and classification in school physical education. - Gymnastics nomenclature. Written and schematic representation of gym elements. - Safety during physical activities. - Outline of the methodology of training selected movement elements.
