- Continuation of course English language 1. - Working with English information sources. - Working with foreign language text. - Extracting meaning from written scientific text. - Structure of academic text (IMRAD). - Development of personal professional vocabulary for academic purposes. - Writing academic essays (argumentative and persuasive essay). - Processing of the specialized listening text - lectures: listens with understanding, listens for specific purposes, outline and notes, etc. - Work with descriptive academic text. Structure and outline. Comparing and evaluating texts. - Working with visual information material. - Development of presentation competences - preparation and presentation - own presentation in front of the audience.
