Course content
- Subject of sociology of childhood as a borderline discipline of sociology. - The concept of child and childhood in terms of several discourse. - Life cycle and generational structure of the company. - Traditional, constructivist, interactionist and interpretative theories in childhood sociology. - Historical and social models of childhood. - Sociological characteristics of childhood. - A child as a social actor in childhood sociology. - Childhood as a sociocultural phenomenon. - Childhood as an important phenomenon of the process of socialization. - Generational arrangements in childhood sociology. - The current specifics of the child's position. - Childhood and mass media in contemporary society and their influence on contemporary childhood. - The current family and its changes, new forms of family behavior. - the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
