Course content
- Key concepts: science, theory, paradigm, discourse. - The system of pedagogical sciences and the place of philosophy of education and theories of education in it. - Theory of learning, epistemological basis of teaching in connection with the theory of education. - Classification of theories of education according to several authors. - Personalistic, humanistic theories. - The role of teacher and pupil in personalistic and humanist theories. - Academic theory, program of academic theories, role of teacher in academic theories. - Spiritualist and social theory - basic orientation. - Cognitive-psychological theories. - Preconcepts of the pupil and constructivistic didactic procedures in the application to primary education. - Sociocognitive theories and their approaches in primary education. - Socio-historical theory and theory of cooperative teaching in application to primary education. - Technological theory (information - multimedia theory). - Important personalities of individual theoretical approaches in pedagogy.
