Course content
- The concept of literacy in the context of pedagogical, psychological, linguistic and sociocultural. - Relationship of preliteracy and literacy. Development of literacy skills. - Factors influencing literacy. - Conditions and methods of developing literacy in school. - Diagnosing reading skills, understanding the text being read. - Evaluation methods. - The child's journey to the readership. - Reading strategies. - The work of a child with different kinds of texts, his/her role in choosing text for the development of readership. - Projects to develop reading literacy. - Good start method. - The role of the reader's journal in reading literacy. - An inspiring environment for the development of reading literacy. - The role of the family in relation to the development of reading literacy.
