Course content
- Introduction to the piano (parts, playing an instrument, proper posture while playing). - Correct hand position, hand release, correct stroke. - Basic styles of musical interpretation (staccato, legato). - Training in C major (materials, translations). - Intervals and their use. - Song analysis and interval value. - Major scales: C, G, D with straight movement in the range of one octave. - Major scales: A, E, F, B with straight movement in the range of one octave. - Chords: major triads to given scales. - Major cadence in chromatic transpositions. - Basic types of piano accompaniment stylization. - Stylization of piano accompaniment of folk songs. - Rehearsal of songs with accompaniment. - Rehearsal and interpretation of a lecture composition suitable for primary school pupils.
