Course content
- Foreign language education and ongoing acquisition of foreign languages. - Basic concepts of foreign language education and relations between them. - Objectives, content and system of foreign language education in primary education in the Czech Republic. - Objectives, content and system of foreign language education in primary education abroad. - Requirements for the personality of an English language teacher in everyday education. - Characteristics and needs of younger pupils influencing the course and results of English language teaching at the 1st stage of primary school. - Planning and organization of English language teaching in recent education. - Teaching methods and procedures for teaching English in primary education. - Material security of English language teaching in normal education. - Selection and evaluation of textbooks. - Information and modern communication technologies in English language teaching in everyday education. - Evaluation of communication in English language lessons in mainstream education. - Evaluation of the outcomes of English language teaching in normal education. - Pedagogical portfolio and its evaluation.
