- The notion of literacy in education, psychology, linguistics and sociocultural. - Literacy as ability and skill. - Assumptions for future reading and writing. - Factors affecting the literacy of a child. - Development of speech and all forms of child communication. - Current trends in the development of literacy: standard directions. - Current trends in the development of literacy: alternative directions. - Potentials and limits if literacy development of a child in family and school. - The technique of reading comprehension. - Development of graphomotor skills of a child. - Spontaneous written production of a child. - Developing an interest in reading and in books. - Actions to promote reading. - Encouraging environment in kindergarten.
