Course content
- Model situations of education activity in Mathematics education. Motivation, new topic presentation, fixation and evaluation of the results of education in various years of primary school. - Mathematical problems. - Educational methods. Methods of solving mathematical problems (inductive, deductive, synthetic, analytic, Experimental, etc.). - Forms of work in Mathematics education. Work with gifted pupils and with pupils with specific learning needs. - The process of implementing and acquiring mathematical terms. Basic stages of the conceptual process. - The importance of practical examples in Mathematics education. - Textbooks, tools, didactic and information technology. Using cognitive technologies in Mathematics education (CAS systems, dynamic geometry environment, etc.). - Solution of problems in didactic tests. Using basic statistics tools for a Mathematics teacher's work. Work with data. - Mathematic competitions and other forms of acquiring and developing pupils' interest in Mathematics. - Basic stages of the history of Mathematics as a science. History of Mathematics education.
