Course content
- The author - reader model of communication. - The function of text. - Text situations; text reception and production. - Types of academic text. - The specifics of pedagogic texts. - The structure of academic text. The components of structure and layout of text. - Language and style of academic text. - Intertextuality, cohesion, coherence of text. - Text and hypertext. - Types of analysis: thematic analysis, quantitative analysis of the content.
