Course content
|
- Numeration and basic knowledge of natural numbers, contents and aims of numeration on the first level of primary school. - Various meanings of natural numbers, areas and periods of numeration. - Mechanism of learning process in Mathematics, the term "number". - Binary operations in arithmetic on the first level of primary school and their characteristics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), introducing terms, models and methods of illustrating operations, basic connections and their automatization, algorithms. - Fractions and their modeling, comparing. - Typology of mathematical problems, simple and combined mathematical problems and methods of solution, the meaning and conduction of testing. - School geometry, overview of basic geometric terms in elementary Mathematics, modeling of geometric terms. - Binary relations and operations in geometry on the first level of primary school. The measurement and measuring of geometric shapes. - Development of spatial imagination in primary Mathematical education. - Levels of the learning process in geometry, their characteristics and meaning for the diagnostics of the pupil.

The student will acquire knowledge in the area of Mathematics on the first level of primary school. After passing this subject, the student understands Mathematical thinking of a child of a younger school age and its characteristics, is able to explain Mathematical topics didactically and is able to use projects in primary education of Mathematics which is integrated in the Curriculum Framework for Primary Schools. |
