Course content
-Introductory diagnostic of foreign language competences of lower primary school pupils. -Goals, methods and principles of English vocabulary acquisition and extension. - Goals, methods and principles of proper English pronunciation acquisition. - Goals, methods and principles of English grammar acquisition. -Development of various strategies of listening in English. -Development of speaking in English. -Development of various reader strategies of listening in English. -Development of writing skills in English.

Students deepen their knowledge and skills gained in Didactics of the English Language 1. Students are acquainted with traditional and the latest methodical procedures in teaching foreign language. They are theoretically and practically prepared to solve particular tasks in teaching English and literature, including teaching three language systems (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar) and development of communicative skills in a foreign language (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
