Course content
- Display, types of display, plain display, similar display. - Equivalence and similarity of sets. Properties of equivalence relation and similarity of ordered sets relation. -Binary operations in a set. Properties of binary operations. - Algebraic structures with one binary operation. Algebraic structures with two binary operations. - Concept of a number, its historical development and present. - Overview of activities leading to creating the concept of a natural number. Cardinal numbers of sets. Ordinal numbers of a well-ordered set. - Operations with cardinal and ordinal numbers, consequence with natural numbers. - Three options of launching the concept of a natural number. - Natural numbers as cardinal numbers. Natural numbers as ordinal numbers. Natural numbers as Pean set elements. - Operations with natural numbers and their properties. Semiring of all natural numbers.
