Course content
- Specific features of literature for children and youth and its relation to developmental stages of children's reading. - Problematic of literature for children from the second half of 19th century to the present. - Comics, cartoon series and picture books within development of literature for children from the beginning to the present. - Folk tales in relation to literature for children. - Characteristics of poetry for children (genres, dominating verse construction) and its development. - Original author fairy tale. - Narrative prose with a child main character. - Adventurous literature for youth. - Development of prose with a girlish/boyish main character.
