Course content
- Developmental tendencies in the management of education and schools. - Principles of leadership in education and schools - foreign experience. - Approaches to leadership in the conditions of Czech education. - Strategic school planning (school development concept - analysis). - Pedagogical leadership in schools. - The school director as a leader. - Styles of leading people in organizations. - New trends in people management (coaching, mentoring, shadowing, bench learning, supervision, teamwork). - Teamwork. The teaching staff and its climate. - Delegation. - Types of hospitalizations. - Development, motivation and evaluation of staff at the school. - Skills for effective leadership. - Practical examples of school management and staff.
