Course content
Methodology of educational research as a scientific discipline. Theory, science, research and their role in research methodology. Definition of the basic concepts of pedagogical research. Objectives, research questions, strengths, limitations in qualitative research design. Division of research methods in qualitative research design. Objectives, starting points, strengths, limitations in quantitative research design. Research hypotheses and formulation of research hypotheses. Division of research methods in quantitative research design. Basics of statistical data processing. Basic descriptive statistics. Ethics of scientific work and research. Research report and research project. Structure of a research project. Research evaluation criteria.
