Course content
- Basic concepts of general and school management. - A brief overview of selected theories of management. - The main characteristics of the school system, the structure of education, schools as institutions and organizations. - Leadership, management and administration of schools in the concept of the current kindergarten. - Comparison of school leadership, management and administration in the European context. - Mission, vision, goal and their application to education and schools. - School culture. - Main management processes - planning, organizing, coordinating, decision making, control and evaluation. - Personnel management and human resources management. - Management of the pedagogical process, the role of the school principal. - Examples of school management and development concepts. - Legislative level of school management. - Development tendencies in the management of education and schools. - Practical examples of school management and leadership (meeting management, observation activities).
