Course content
1. Basic concepts from the theory and practice of music psychology (musical abilities, skills, aptitudes, talents). 2. Musical activities in primary education. 3. Musical means of expression (metre, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, melody, tonality, tone colour). 4. Musical drama education in primary education. 5. Musical creativity in primary education (improvisation, fantasy, imagination). 6. Overview of personalities involved in music creation for children (and their works). 7. Folklore in musical activities in primary education. 8. Basic musical concepts and terminology (tone, bar, scale, key, etc.). 9. Acquisition of the principles of notation. 10. Major scales, minor scales (fifth-quarter circle). 11. Creating and determining intervals. 12. Quint chords and their reversals. 13. Basic harmonic functions. 14. Selected chapters in the history of music.
