- Different concepts of career. Definition of career. Career criteria. Internal and external careers. - Career cycles. Major changes affecting career development. - Concept of career counselling in the Czech Republic and abroad. Career counselling services. - Needs in career counselling and methods of their mapping. - Diagnostic methods. Orientation. Motivation. Change of perspective. - Analysis and work with potential. - Planning. Action plan. Clarifying expectations. Contract. - Career information and working with it. Managing frustration. - Content-focused methods (Parsons, Holland, Brown). - Process-based methods (Super). - Methods based on a constructivist definition of career (Amundson, Peavy, Savickas). - Career orientation. Comparison of personal potential and requirements, development of the labour market. - Career in employment. A person looking for a company. A company looking for a person. - Specific groups and current issues affecting the approach in career counselling (gender issues, migration, sustainability, etc.). - Evaluation methods in career counselling.
