- Basic principles of socio-pedagogical diagnostics. Current legislative anchoring in the Czech Republic. - Ethical issues related to the process of socio-pedagogical diagnostics. - Basic information on socio-pedagogical diagnostics with a focus on at-risk and socially disadvantaged groups of children, youth and adults. - Diagnostic approaches in school and out-of-school settings. Options for supporting pupils in difficult situations. - Diagnosis of pupils with special educational needs. Diagnosis of pupils with social disadvantage. The role of school counselling centres. - Diagnostics in the field of prevention and the occurrence of risky behaviour. Approaches to challenging behaviour of children and pupils in schools. in schools and educational establishments. Diagnostics of social relationships. - Working with selected techniques. Psychometric properties of test methods. Appropriate choice of techniques and adequate use. Main areas of application of social and educational diagnostics (pupil/child, social environment, school environment). - Dynamic diagnostics. Diagnostic process. Use of the findings of the diagnostic process in accordance with the needs and interests of children and adolescents.
