- Basic terminology and concepts (information society, information science, information process, information resources, information services, ...). - Libraries (history, present and future, the system abroad and CR services). - Documents (types, primary, secondary, ...). Description and classification of documents. - Searching for resources (search strategies, database centers, information centers). - Specialized information resource (various specialisation, information sources on the Internet, patents, standards, Grey literature). - Databases available in the library (licensed, freely available electronic journals, catalogues). - Use of information and information ethics (recherche, citations, licensing policy, copyright, compliance with standards and practices). - Practical activities.
