Course content
- Culture (definition, anthropological and axiological concept). - Multiculturalism (appearance, character in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe). - Racism (the concept of race, developing ideas and concepts of race, the emergence of racism). - Migration and refugees. - Immigration and asylum policy in the country. - Integration of immigrants according to the EU. - Foreigners, minorities and the media. - Ethnic minorities in the (Vietnamese, Ukrainians, migration from the Balkans). - Roma/Romanies in the Czech Republic (Past and Present). - The concept of multicultural education.

Monologic (Exposition, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (Discussion, conversation, brainstorming)
  • Preparation for examination - 30 hours per semester
