Course content
- The history of psychology as a science. Nature of Psychology (subject, paradigm, targets and approaches). - Characteristics of the main directions of contemporary psychology. - Ontogenesis of the human psyche -- an overview and characteristics of each period of live. Models of development. - The basic psychological processes and functions, laws and application in practice. - Perception, attention, imagination and fantasy. - Memory. - Learning. - Thinking. - Motivation. - Emotions. - Intelligence and creativity. - Psychological conception of personality: the personality and individuality. Theories of personality. Socialization. - Getting to know the personality, selfrecognition, selfconcept. - Key concepts of social psychology. Social behavior: attitudes and social cognition, social interaction and influence.
