Course content
Work with various types of texts (predominantly non-literary). The analysis of source texts with regard to their typology. The analysis of source texts with regard to the language functions and means. The analysis of source texts with regard to the critical assessment of the existing translations. The analysis of students translations, exploring different translation solutions. The making and the analysis of students translations. Practical solutions to the problems in students translations. Verification of acquired knowledge and skills (in the form of a credit test translation).
