Course content
|
The outline of the field of translatology from the point of view of literary and linguistic sciences. Basic overview of history of translation approaches. An overview of modern translatological theories. Basic terminology of translation and principles of translation process. Aspects of translation (communicative, pragmatic, stylistic). Common translation problems and processes. Confrontation of different language means in the source language and the target language. Differing features of individual stylistic means in both languages.
