Course content
The issues of development of primary and secondary education as a discipline established in the structure of pedagogical sciences. Comparison of trends in the development of primary and secondary education in the Czech Republic and abroad. Identification of problem areas in the development of primary and secondary education as support for implementation in primary and secondary schools. Formulation and comparison of alternative solving methods of primary and secondary education pedagogy. Comparison of the objectives, content, methods and strategies in teaching in primary and secondary education. Problem areas for primary and secondary education, addressing the issue of evaluation of teaching at primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic and in the international context (PISA, TIMS etc.). Specific requirements of teacher training for primary and secondary education.
