Course material overview: grammar and vocabulary International Express Intermediate 3rd Edition Units 4 - 6 Course Overview of vocabulary and grammar: - Making comparisons - City descriptions, ING vs ED adjectives - Giving opinions - Modals and related verbs (have to, must, need to, be allowed to, can) - Colours, colour idioms, prefixes - Telephoning - Giving advice and suggestions - Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect - Noun formation - Describing problems and finding solutions Vocabulary: Vocabulary is based on everyday communicative situations and practical topics discussed in particular units of the textbooks (colours, telephoning, giving advice, suggestions, city descriptions, giving opinions, making compounds, etc.).
