Course content
Course material overview: grammar and vocabulary Life Pre-Intermediate 2nd Edition, Units 1 - 4 Grammar: - Present Simple and Present Continuous - Frequency Adverbs - Present Simple versus Present Continuous - Modal verbs for rules - -ing form of verbs - Comparison of adjectives - Past simple and past continuous Vocabulary: Vocabulary is based on everyday communicative situations and practical topics discussed in particular units of the textbook: lifestyle, everyday activities, collocations with "do", play" and "go", illnesses and treatment, competitions, sport, noun suffixes, collocations with the verb "like", transport, travelling, compound nouns, challenges, personality traits, phrases with nouns and verbs

Knowledge
The course is designed for students of bachelor studies who studied English at a secondary school as their first or second foreign language, ie. the minimum required langauge experience is 4 years of previous studies. Students who passed the language state exam, hold a certificate or completed a similar subject at a Czech or foreign university - at the same or higher level - may contact the course guarantor to discuss a possible individual study mode.
