Course content
- Communication before conference - telephoning, emailing - Conference abstract - Poster - preparation and presentation Oral presentation: - aspects of presentation (audience analysis, communication aim, differences between written and spoken communication, structure of the oral presentation) - rules for the preparation of a presentation - the language of presentations (verbal means) - delivery (voice, visuals, body language, timing) - question time - types of presentations (introduction speech, object description, definition/explanation of a term, process description, problem-solution) - presentation assessment - criteria.
