Course content
The class covers final four modules from the textbook Open Mind Intermediate, modules 7 -9. Grammar: - Modal verbs - Suffixes for adjectives - Relative clauses - Verb plus gerund or infinitive - Infinitive clauses - Expressing regrets Vocabulary: - Strategies in Communication - Fictional narrative - Health problems, symptoms and injuries

After the course students have English language knowledge minimum at B1+ level or higher in: - Modal verbs - Suffixes for adjectives - Relative clauses - Verb plus gerund or infinitive - Infinitive clauses - Expressing regrets - English vocabulary used to express types of communication strategies, fictional narrative, health problems, symptoms and injuries

After the course students have ability to: - Express oneself in writing and speaking a limited way in familiar situations and to deal in a general way with non-routine information. - Actively develop their knowledge of grammar and extend their vocabulary at intermediate level B1+. - Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. and they can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans
