Course content
|
Content of the lessons is arranged according to Units 1, 2, 3, 4 in Read for C1 Advanced textbook. Students read and present vocational texts from their study specializations. Grammar: - Modal verbs: Might, could, may and can - Adverbs of degree - Present and future conditionals, hypothetical situations - Gerunds and infinitives - Comparisons Improving writing skills in selected writing styles. Selected conversational topics and lexis: - Challenge and achievement - Changes, Information and research - Body and movement idioms Lexis: Phrasal verbs The result of a subject examination is expressed on a six-point scale: A "výborně" (i.e. "excellent"), B "velmi dobře" (i.e. "very good"), C "dobře" (i.e. "good"), D "uspokojivě" (i.e. "satisfactory"), E "dostatečně" (i.e. "sufficient"), F "nedostatečně" (i.e. "fail").
