The course covers units 1-4 of Navigate Upper-Intermediate: - Different question types - Present perfect simple and continuous - Talking about past events - Past perfect simple - Future forms - Future perfect - Passive - Causative 'have' and 'get' - Collocations - Easily confused words - Phrasal verbs - Dealing with problems on the phone - Compound nouns - North American and British English The subject aims at vocabulary and functional language connected with the following conversation topics: Discussing important life events. Giving Advice. Exclamations with 'What'. Newspapers. Offers. Law and order. Shopping. Making a complaint. Advantages and disadvantages. Talking about sports and how to play them. Money. Social expressions. Furthermore, the course focuses on vocabulary related to students' field of study.
