The state and the study of its nature, politics The development of the concept of state Signs of the state Forms of state and government Constitutionalism The division of power State structure Public administration and its division Region and regionalization The theory of spatial arrangement Spatial structure of the economy, localization Regional development and its conceptualization

learning outcomes
Students acquired a comprehensive overview of the key concepts in the field of politic science and history of public administration. Students understand the system of public power in the state and are able to explain the basics of activities of state authorities. Students are also able to describe the basic milestones in the history of public administration in the Czech Republic. Students utilize the acquired knowledge in the field of regional economies and economies of municipalities to understand the current economic and political processes in cities. Students understand the basics of financing municipalities and managing their assets. Students acquired an overview of the development in the organization of regional economies and economic structure of the region. Students are able to analyse the economic level of a region and regional growth tools.
