Introduction to economic geography and new economic geography Theory of region, typology of regions and geographical regionalization Socioeconomic characteristics of regions Urbanization processes, global cities and economic growth Regional competitiveness and economic growth in the EU Regional policy and Smart specialization of regions in the EU Digital economy Creative economy and creative industries Knowledge economy and knowledge intensive business services Networking, clusters, and cluster organisations The role of foreign investment in regional development Measuring the impact of tourism on regional development Current topics in economic geography - resilience and migration
