Course content
Introduction to law. Trade business. Body business. Types of trade license. The prerequisites for doing business. Obstacles and continuation of business. The procedure connected with obtaining a trade license. Business offices, competence, control. Business Corporation. General principles of foundation and dissolution of corporations. Types of business corporations (personal, capital corporations). Cooperatives, European cooperatives and companies. Establishment of corporations under the civil code (entrepreneurs, societies, foundation). Types of representation of the entrepreneur. Obligations (contracts, formalities, the content of the contract, termination of the contractual relationship). Responsibility in the contractual relationship. Labour law, (the emergence of the employment relationship, types of contracts in the employment relationship, agreement on work performed outside an employment relationship, agreements about material responsibility, termination). Securities, promissory notes, cheques. Criminal law. Criminal liability of entrepreneurs. Types of economic crimes. Types of property crimes. Insolvency proceedings, explanation of terms, management.

Student will be able to understand the new (current) rules of private law of the Czech Republic. With regard to the profile of the graduate acquires knowledge in the field which is necessary for the initiation and implementation of their own business or for the status of a qualified employee business corporations, associations or other legal entities. Students will be able to understand the legal order of the Czech Republic in its breadth and interdependencies of individual regulations that they can discover, interpret and apply the relevant provisions of the particular case.
