Course content
Civil Law - private law; rules of use of the private law, protection of the private rights. Natural person. Legal person - general provisions, association, foundation, endowment fund, institute. Legal persons bodies. Representation - legal and contractual. Power of attorney. Things and their distribution. Absolute property rights, property rights, rights in rem of another's things. Relative property rights - liabilities and their contents; general contract, the change of the lender or the borrower, collateral and affirmation of liabilities. Selected types of contracts: the contract of sale, the contract for work, a silent partnership contract, license contact, agency contract, etc. Business Corporations - the term "business corporation", establishment, creation, cancellation, termination, liquidation. Deposit and deposit management. The Commercial Corporation bodies - definition, status, competence, conduct, mutual relations. Establishment and termination of office of a member of the statutory body, the preconditions for the emergence of function. Contract on performing a function. Public trading company. Limited partnership company. Limited liability company. Joint-stock company. Syndicate. Product safety Competition law. Competition - legislation, defining the market and determining market shares, agreements distorting competition (vertical and horizontal integration), merging competitors, monopolistic and dominant position (abuse of dominant position). The position of the The Office for the Protection of Competition. Settling of the disputes. Unfair competition - rules, entities, protection. Acts of unfair competition under the rules of the Civil Law. Intellectual property rights - the signs (trademarks, appellations of origin and geographical indications). Industrial property rights - inventions and innovations, utility models. European Law - term, objective. The EU institutions. The primary law of the EU (the EU treaties, conventions). EU legal acts (formerly secondary legislation - regulations, directives, opinions, recommendations).
