The structure of the course copies the following topics: - Enterprise and business environment (Czech Republic versus EU) - Starting and closing a business (legislation, case studies) - Development programs and subsidy policy - public support for entrepreneurship - Public sources of financing, state budget - Sustainable Development - Sustainable business in the Czech Republic - The concept of corporate social responsibility - Social economy - Social entrepreneurship - Examples of "best practices" - Financial instruments of business support, sources of financing social business - Concepts of business performance management in the conditions of sustainable business development - Socially responsible investing - definition and its role

The legal framework for starting and closing a business and typical practical procedures. Principles of public support for entrepreneurship: grant policy, development programmes, and state aid rules. Concepts of sustainable development, CSR, and sustainable business in the Czech Republic, including the basics of carbon footprint. The specifics of the social economy and social entrepreneurship, including funding sources and the role of socially responsible investing. |
