Course content
Services as a part of tourism (essence of services and classification of services in tourism, characteristics of services in tourism). Transport services (material and technical conditions for the provision of services, range of services provided, air, road, rail transport). Accommodation services (material and technical conditions for the provision of services, categorization, classification of services, services of accommodation facilities, hotel management). Catering services (material and technical conditions for the provision of services, product offer of hospitality centers, fast forms of catering, dining, world and national gastronomy). Travel agency services (meaning and function of TA, CA, TA product, Informatization of TA services). Guide services in tourism (personality profile of a tourism guide, preparation of a tour guide, work agenda of a tourism guide, cooperation between a guide and a travel agency). Spa services (indicative focus of natural healing spas, material and technical conditions for the provision of services, characteristics and classification of spa services, basic and additional services, marketing in spas). Congress and incentive tourism (characteristics and importance of congress events, material and technical conditions for the provision of services, organization of congress events). Product creation in tourism (product parameters, factors influencing the form of CR products). Insurance in tourism (importance of insurance, types of insurance). Passport and customs services and exchange services (travel documents abroad. CR, visa, subject of exchange activities, exchange rates and exchange certificate). Services of information centers in the Czech Republic (material and technical conditions for the provision of services, characteristics and meaning of information centers, distribution and density in the Czech Republic and in the world).
