Course content
Basics and specifics of management in health care organizations. Communication in health care organizations. Motivation theory in management of health care organizations. Teamwork in health care organizations. Basic management functions - planning, organizing, control in health care organizations. Personality of medical staff. Balanced Scorecard in healthcare organizations. Risk assessment and management in healthcare organizations. Time analysis in management of health care organizations. Satisfaction of management subjects in health care organizations.

Knowledge
The student has knowledge of basic concepts in the field of health management, can explain the concepts of motivation, communication, teamwork. The student knows the specifics of management in health care organizations. The student is able to recognize, describe and practically apply basic control functions. Practice is time analysis and risk analysis. Attention is also focused on the personality of the manager and measurement of satisfaction in healthcare organizations.
