- Introduction. Profiling of the field of nursing in the system of health sciences. History and development of nursing, important historical and contemporary personalities in the field of nursing and their importance for the development of the field. - Paradigm, concept and goals of nursing, regulation of nursing profession. Direction of nursing according to ICN. Legislation related to the profession, National Register of Health Care Workers. - Helping professions focusing on healthcare. Burnout in helping professions. - The role of nurses and physicians, defining the competences of nurses. Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team. - Nursing process and its changes. Diagnostic systems in nursing (OMAHA, NANDA, Alliance 3N). Methodology of credible documentation of nursing practice. Diagnosis of medical and nursing. - Evidence Based Practice. Systematic review. Database to find relevant resources with an emphasis on nursing. - Health promotion, disease prevention. Quality of life. Quality of life and health. Human values and needs. - Civilization diseases, causes and prevention. - Modern theory and practice of physiotherapy. - Spas and its role in the health care system. - Modern spa trends. - Home nursing care - An aging population and its impact on health.
