- Basic terms and problems of adaptive control systems. - Classification of adaptive control systems. - Adaptive controllers based on heuristic approach, model reference adaptive systems. - Self-tuning PID digital controllers based on the Ziegler-Nichols and pole assignment method. - Self-tuning controllers based on the algebraic control theory with one (1DOF) and two (2DOF) degrees of freedom. - Self-tuning controllers based on the Dead-beat method (weak and strong version). - Self-tuning controllers based on the pole assignment method. - Self-tuning linear quadratic controllers based on spectral factorization. - Self-tuning Smith predictor for control of processes with time-delay. - Delta models and their using in self-tuning controllers. - Model predictive control (MPC), principle, basic terms, models, cost functions. - Derivation and implementation of predictive control. - Predictive control with constraints.
