Course content
Topics: 1. Current concepts and trends in pedagogical evaluation. 2. School quality, related concepts and theories. 3. Comprehensive pedagogical evaluation at the national and international level. 4. Activities and focus of the Czech School Inspectorate. 5. Pedagogical evaluation as a process. Planning, implementation, evaluation and implementation of pedagogical evaluation results in practice. 6. Basic methods of pedagogical evaluation. 7. Selected specific techniques of pedagogical evaluation and examples of their application in practice. 8. School self-evaluation - focus, specifics. 9. Self-evaluation as a path to quality management in schools. 10. Teacher evaluation and self-evaluation as a path to their professionalization. Standards for the quality of teacher work. 11. Observation in teaching, video examples from real practice. 12. Issues of student evaluation and self-evaluation. Effective strategies for student assessment and self-assessment. 13. Objectification of student assessment. Creation and application of didactic tests in student assessment. 14. Issues of evaluation of textbooks and other educational media.
