Course content
Mathematical model, classification of models and systems. Quantities, inputs, outputs, disturbances. Identification, linearization, simulation of systems. Technical means for obtaining information from technological processes. Technical means for the realization of controllers. Linear continuous-time and discrete-time control systems. Analysis of continuous-time and discrete-time control loops, stability, control performance. Controller design methods in the continuous-time and discrete-time domain. PID and PSD controllers. General linear controllers. Advanced methods of automatic control. Control computer hardware. Microcomputers. Programmable Logic Controllers. Communication between individual elements in hierarchical systems. Industrial buses. Software tools for monitoring and control applications at individual levels. Real-time operating systems.
