Topics: 1. Definition of criminological science and its position in society. 2. The relationship between criminology and criminal policy. 3. Methods and types of criminological research. 4. Development of opinions on the causes of crime. 5. Theory of personality of the offender. 6. Criminal career. 7. Victimology, personality of a victim of a crime. 8. Status, structure and dynamics of crime. 9. Social crime control. 10. Overview of selected crimes, including the causes of their implementation. 11. Computer crime. 12. Economic crime. 13. Organized crime, criminality of foreigners and ethnic minorities; assignment of seminar work topics. 14. Presentation of assigned credit works, assignment of topics for the written exam.
