Course content
1. Introduction to Applied Computer Science, the Information Society, and the Importance of Information in the Field of Security; 2. Software, Computer Programming Tools, Overview, Classification; 3. Modeling, Fundamentals of Modeling, Classification of Models, and Their Importance in Security Applications Examples of Model Applications and Modeling, Modeling of Hazardous Substance Releases, Flood Models. Software modeling tools in security applications; 4. Simulationintroduction to the topic, basic classifications, and significance in security applications; 5. Applied Informatics (AI)computer software tools, the role of applied informatics in crisis management; 6. Artificial Intelligence (AI)definition of terms, basic principles of machine learning, overview of current generative AI tools, application possibilities and system limitations; 7. Information Support for Crisis Management (IPKŘ)definition of terms, basic elements, role of information support in crisis management; 8. Information Systems - architecture of information systems, basic elements, service functions; 9. Unified Warning and Notification Systems - description of components and their functions, significance of the system; 10. Monitoring - overview of software products. Use of camera systems, image analysis, basic control of the control center; 11. Information support in the field of flood protection - flood model databases, local warning systems, limnigraphic stations; 12. Information system security issues - ISMS, ISO/IEC 27001, ZKB; 13. Geographic Information Systems (GIS), definition of terms, basic functions, spatial data, spatial analysis, the role of GIS in crisis management; 14. The role, function, and basic principles of the IS HOPKS; information support for the material resources planning system in the process of preparing for crisis situationsIS HOPKS; information support for the system of requesting material resources during crisis situationsIS HOPKS.
